Terry: A post war 'baby boomer' I was born into the world in the Black Country in Middle England. ('Black' due to the colour of it's soil which is composed mostly of grey marl clay mixed with coal dust from the immense seams of coal near the surface). A good student at Dudley Grammar, a prestigious local school, but a perpetual underachiever due to chronic laziness, I finished school at the age of 16 and eventually qualified as a Mechanical Engineer at the age of 21. Later I decided to become a schoolteacher, married, had two lovely offspring, divorced and am now remarried. I retired in November 2006 to concentrate on living.
